Strategy

Going forward, in Ukraine VimpelCom remains focused on ensuring its leading mobile position, as measured in stable customer and revenue market share.

We expect to grow in mobile data and maintain the number one position in digital content services. This will be enabled through continued focus on value-based management with laser focus on the customer. Our customer experience program includes superior pricing, rationalized distribution portfolio and loyalty offers. Additionally, we will continue investing in MFS and partnerships and grow beyond the core. These will be fully supported  by operational excellence, lean headcount and advanced profitability management. Network sharing is expected to become more prominent in Ukraine as soon as the market begins rolling out 3G networks, but currently 3G licenses are not available to main operators.
